Abigoliah Schamaun

Three times Abigoliah’s tried to summit, Longs Peak, a 14,000 foot mountain in Colorado with her father. Twice when she was a child they were unsuccessful. And since then, that mountain has loomed in the back of Abigoliah and her father’s mind. It’s literally their Everest. Longs Peak is a treacherous climb with sheer cliffs with 1,000 foot drops. If you fall, you die. There’s lightning strikes on a regular basis. If you get struck you die.
