Come along to our VE Day Party in the Park to help us celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. There’ll be plenty to do throughout the day with a selection of children’s activities, live music, charities and stalls.
Why not bring your own picnic, lay back and relax to enjoy a full programme of entertainment from local groups and artists in the bandstand. Don’t have time to make a picnic? Don’t worry as Le Petit Frog will be onsite throughout the day to offer a delicious menu to suit all tastes! :P
The Bandstand will showcase performances from Sylk Dance Academy, Bollinbrook School and Moss Rose Brass Band. Four To The Bar, the popular harmonising group, shall be closing the event at 3pm-4pm singing a mixture of war time and modern day songs.
Fancy trying your luck? Then have a go at one of our side stalls provided by JMH Leisure. There’ll be a traditional coconut shy, ball in the bucket, high striker and their ever popular Nerf Shootout!!!
We have face painting, Build a Bear and more fun activities for the kids to do throughout the day.
The event shall support a selection of military based charities and groups which shall be in attendance on the day.
