Lytham Live!: Matt Cardle + Janet Devlin
The forthcoming two-night Lytham Live! event on August 22 and 23 has been moved to North Pier in Blackpool.
Organisers have announced today that “with regret” the event can no longer be held at Lytham’s Grade I-listed Georgian mansion.
Their statement reads: “This is no reflection on the venue of Lytham Hall with it’s beautiful grounds and we have found their team to be incredibly supportive and encouraging – however, due to a completely untenable situation brought about by third parties the events can no longer proceed.
“We are very saddened by this but due to their actions we have decided that it is highly unlikely that we will be able to return there in the future.
“Lytham Hall is a jewel on the coastline and its restoration programme is vital and these events would have added some much needed financial support from ourselves via the event.
“However, on a very positive note – Blackpool has come to rescue.
“We are pleased to announce the events will now take place as “North Pier Live!” at the iconic venue of North Pier Theatre, Blackpool.”
There will no change to the line up headlined by Matt Cardle with Janet Devlin, Harry Mondryk, Sam and The Womp and Rothwell on the Friday and featuring Collabro, Lucy Kay, Jai McDowall, Denise Pearson and Voce on the Saturday.
Tickets already purchased will be honoured at the new venue of The North Pier Theatre, if you have any questions please contact the tickets agent where you made your original purchase.

Matt Cardle is a multi-platinum recording artist who has sold over 2.2 million records in the UK and completed five sell-out tours.
Matt was crowned the winner of the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010, guided by his mentor and friend Dannii Minogue, in front of an audience surpassing a staggering 19.1 million viewers. This is still the most successful series in the shows 12-year history by a mile and Matt historically won the public vote every week, with the exception of the first.
Matt most recently made his West End acting debut in Memphis The Musical playing the lead role of radio DJ Huey Calhoun. Matt received rave reviews from theatre critics and won the 'Best West End Debut Award' for his four-month stint at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London starring alongside Beverley Knight.
Matt is a singer, with a four-octave vocal range, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and drummer. His debut single When We Collide sold over one million copies and has just been named as one of the Top 40 biggest selling singles of the past decade. The song spent three weeks at #1 and was nominated for Best British Single at the 2011 Brit Awards. This was followed by the #6, Gary Barlow penned hit Run For Your Life and platinum selling #2 debut album Letters. To date Matt has co-written, co-produced and released three Top 10 albums; the aforementioned debut in 2011, The Fire (2012) and Porcelain (2013). Matt’s last Top 10 single was the infectious duet Loving You with Spice Girl Melanie C.
Southampton born and Essex raised, Matt completed his fifth sold-out UK tour in April 2014 playing 20 dates across the UK and Ireland. In September 2013 he performed The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face at Miss World in Bali, Indonesia in front of an audience of over two billion. Matt’s performance of this song was voted the 3rd Best Moment in the history of The X Factor and has been viewed over 40 million times on YouTube.
Matt is currently writing and recording his 4th studio album working with an array of talented producers including; Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue / Ellie Golding / Will Young), John Beck (Corrine Bailey Rae / Indiana), Dimitri Tikiovoi (Goldfrapp / Charli XCX / Paloma Faith) and Dan McDougall.
