Rock Of Ages
Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This Tony Award -nominated Broadway musical features the hits of bands including Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, and others.
The show is set in the Bourbon Room live rock club on the sunset strip in L.A. in the 1980’s. Drew, or rather Wolfgang von Colt wants to be a rock star but until he makes it big he is working as a cleaner at the Bourbon.
When Sherrie arrives in town searching for her big break Drew falls in love and helps her get a job at the club. But the club is under threat - Hertz, a wealthy German Industrialist and his son Franz are buying up the strip and converting the area to housing.
In a last ditch attempt to save his club Dennis and his assistant Lonny come up with a plan to have the rock Mega star 'Stacey Jaxx' perform his farewell concert at the venue where his career started, the Bourbon Room.
Love grows and stalls and grows as our characters try and save the club.
This is a fun and feel good show.
