Rock Shabbat, Shir

Two great events within the special programme for WLS's own 175th anniversary year:

Israel Rocks! The 2015 (5775) celebratory Yom Ha’atzmaut service features a rock band ('Rock Shabbat') playing alongside some of the musical members of our own Young Adults (YAD) group. The service will feature all of the regular Erev Shabbat prayers, but in an even more exuberant style than usual - who knows, there may even be air guitars and dry ice...All welcome - no bookings needed.

We Are Family! Immediately after the service comes one of the hottest tickets of the WLS year, in celebration of Israel's 67th Independence anniversary. With everyone’s favourite klezmer band SHIR, We Are Family! is a unique event on our calendar, in that it truly unites every generation in dancing, fabulous food, Israeli wine drinking, great raffle prizes and even more raucous dancing! Could any more fun possibly be squeezed into one evening?
