Adoramus Choir

The concert will be conducted and introduced by our very own Director of Music, David Hooke. It focuses on Adoramus’ orchestra and a smaller sub section of the choir. It has a themed progression from the Tragedy of Schubert’s Tragic Symphony to the Majesty of Bach’s resplendent setting of the Magnificat. In between the two we’ll hear the beautiful, but rarely performed “Totus in Corde Langueo” for Soprano, Solo Clarinet and Orchestra which expresses a deep spiritual fervour.
