Boa
A unique opportunity to see one of Britain’s greatest actresses in one of London’s most intimate spaces. Coming straight off enormous critical acclaim as Henry IV Harriet Walter and her husband, American actor Guy Paul, perform together for the first time in London in a new play by award-winning writer Clara Brennan.
Running for a strictly limited five weeks, in front of only 98 people per night, Boa is an acerbic, warm and honest account of a husband and wife whose relationship spans thirty years of love, laughter, addiction, and warfare.
One transatlantic marriage. Three continents. Two wars.
'Sometimes her arm around your shoulders felt like a feather boa, and sometimes it felt like a big old snake squeezing the life out of you. I liked it.'
Dame Harriet Walter
Acclaimed Olivier Award-winning actress, and the niece of Christopher Lee, Harriet was awarded a CBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours List in 2000.
