Stratford East Singers

Stratford East Singers (SES) are the Theatre Royal Stratford East's official community choir directed by music artist, Byron Gold. With over 250 members signing up to take part in the group, SES have sung to over twelve thousand people.

In an incredible six years SES have been featured in some of London's high profile cultural events, including the concert version of The Harder They Come, Heartfelt, BT River of Music Festival, Google HQ, BABEL, and the re-opening of The Queen Elizabeth Park.

Not one to be boxed in by the term 'community singing' SES have also been featured on BBC 4, ITV's The X-Factor and were placed 2nd runner up in the first series of 'The Naked Choir' hosted by Gareth Malone.
