The Vortex are delighted to welcome back iconic pianist Kirk Lightsey, celebrating his 80th birthday, but playing with as much joy, energy and beauty as ever.
He renews a partnership with Jean Toussaint, who, ever since his time as a Jazz Messenger with Art Blakey, has matched Kirk in attitude and approach.
