Shradhanjali - A Tribute to Pandit Sharda Sahai ji
Kaashi Arts would like to extend a warm invite for you to attend a show dedicated to the memory of the late maestro, Pandit Sharda Sahai ji of the Benares Gharana (School) of Tabla.
Sri Sanju Sahai ji (Tabla) will be accompanied by Pandit Ramesh Mishra ji (Sarangi) - the pair will be paying homage to the legend in their own unique ways as son and nephew. Listeners will be taken away to the sacred banks of the River Ganges in Benares (Northern India).
During the first half of the evening's program, Kaashi Arts are fortunate to be hosting very special guests and prominent artists Ustad Dharambir Singh Dhadyalla, Manorama Prasad, Mehboob Nadeem, Chandra Chakrabarty, Bhupinder Chagger and Upneet Singh Dhadyalla - all to be performing devotional and commemorative pieces in memory of Pandit Sharda Sahai ji.
