Cerebellum

The Cerebellum (or "Little Brain") is responsible for motor control and fear & pleasure responses. Artist-curator-host Charlotte CHW invites you to encounter "a confusion of the senses" (Hastings Independent) in her quarterly, interdisciplinary one-night live, cross-country exhibition.

Cerebellum focuses on cross-disciplinary live art practice encompassing sound, film, text-based work, installation and performance. In addition event-goers will be able to experience self-contained exhibits across the night and there will be original work for sale.

Previous artists featured include Graham Dunning (NTS radio, ASS), Jussi Brightmore (Gum Takes Tooth), Liz Helman (Kohlenstoff Records) Jason Williams (I’m Being Good) and Kitty Fedorec. Artists already confirmed for this addition include: Hysteresis (Hastings), Maike Zimmerman (London/ Berlin), Emma Louvelle (London) and Justyna Burzynska (London) will be live drawing. The new cross-country element aims to create dialogue and collaboration rather than competition between London and Hastings.
