British Judo Open

Preparations are well underway for the British Open hosted for the first time at The SSE Arena, Wembley in July 2015.

The British Open will be held across two days on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July and will be the biggest judo event to be held in England in 2015. This will be the first major judo event to be held at The SSE Arena, Wembley and will see judo competition returning to a prestigious London venue following the 2012 Olympic Games.

The judo stars of the future will compete alongside Olympians in exciting contests across two days of top quality judo action. The British Open is your opportunity to witness the British Olympic squad competing on home soil in London as athletes prepare for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

For the first time the event will also host a ‘Fan Zone’, enabling seasoned judo fans and newcomers to the sport to find out more about judo and get involved in fun activities for the whole family.
