The Diver

Craft Theatre company member Helen Foster brings her one-woman, family-friendly show The Diver to the Rag Factory - an underwater adventure story following explorer Kate Plank as she attempts to walk across the Atlantic Ocean floor from England to New York.

The Diver is a playful, imaginative show drawing on puppetry, physical theatre and clowning to explore the depths of the Ocean and the fear that can stand in our way. Follow Kate Plank’s incredible adventure and ask yourself: what perils will she face?! Will she arrive safely on the other side?! Will the audience drown?!! (unlikely – most water is imaginary).
