Salena Jones

Salena Jones is a wonderful living jazz legend.

She grew up in New York in the company of musicians who too would become the legends.

Singing rhythm ‘n’ blues with her own band she was listed by Downbeat as 'a most promising newcomer' together with Peggy Lee and Ella Fitzgerald.

Over the subsequent five decades, Salena Jones has been a central figure on the British jazz scene and has played everywhere, from Canada, throughout Europe, South Africa, South America, to the US and Japan.
