The 38th BRIT Awards takes place on 21st February 2018, and will be broadcast live on ITV from The O2 Arena, London.
Last year’s event featured performances from Little Mix, Katy Perry, The Chainsmokers & Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran and Stormzy. It reached a wider audience than ever before by expanding its digital partnerships to make the biggest night in music even more interactive, with ITV’s audience across the main show and its launch programme achieving 8.5 million in total. There were over 27 million views of BRITs performances on VEVO and YouTube within just one week.
The BRITs 2017 raised £567K for the War Child charity from all of the activity around the Awards, including BRITs Week which hosted a series of incredible live shows in the week leading up to the main event through a partnership between the BPI and AEG. Craig David, The 1975, Lianne La Havas and Basement Jaxx played across London helping to raise money for the cause.
The BRIT Awards 2017 also saw another successful partnership with Life Water. Since partnering with Life Water in 2013, The BRIT Awards have funded five clean drinking water projects that have given 4,991 people a reliable source of clean water in their community.

Their career has seen them go from being 'the band with the guy who used to be in Nirvana' to being one of the first names on the tongue of anyone making a list of the most prolific and influential bands in rock music today, with a score of memorable songs and legendary performances to their name.

The Brit award-winning singer/songwriter from Suffolk who found fame by fusing traditional acoustic and folk melodies with hip hop beats, Sheeran has created an inimitable sound and built a massive legion of fans through his constant live gigging. Sheeran made chart history at the beginning of 2017 by being the only artist to debut two brand new singles in the top two positions, with 'Castle Of You' reaching no.2 and 'Shape Of You' reaching no.1 simultaneously, along with each individual track from his '÷' album entering the top 20 of the singles chart. He also achieved the prestigious UK Christmas no.1 spot in 2017 with 'Perfect', while the '÷' album had notched up sales of over 2 million by the end of 2017 and became the fastest-selling album by a UK male artist of all time.

Rag'N'Bone Man (aka Rory Graham) has a holler like hot buttered rum. Loaded with disparate and cross generational influences, the sound of Rag'N'Bone Man is both hugely idiosyncratic and massively moving. He combines a purity of spirit with his unique brand of acoustic hip-hop soul into a force which is entirely his own. He is the real deal.

Before Stormzy released his platinum-selling #1 debut album, ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ in February 2017, many would merely have called him one of the most promising rappers on the UK scene. Nearly three years on however, that description is utterly inadequate. A showman like no other, his remarkable ascent has been accompanied by his honest and relatable character. Known for evolving the underground musical landscape, as well as being a perennial political agitator, Stormzy is a true spokesman of black empowerment and social activism. He has become one of the UK’s most inspiring cultural figures and earlier this year, during his headline performance at Glastonbury Festival, he took the opportunity to highlight a plethora of social issues, including the injustice of young black children being criminalised in a biased and disproportionate justice system.
