Night Of The Jumps

The Night Of The Jumps is the oldest and largest international Freestyle motorcross (FMX) series in the world, and comes to The O2 on Saturday 5th September 2015 with the most competitive line-up of riders in the history of the series.

Combining international top-class sport (FIM Freestyle MX World Championship, Freestyle MX European Championship) with expert showmanship and impressive pyro, sound and light effects, Night of the Jumps is a not-to-be-missed spectacle of sporting prowess and awesome effects.

Alongside the main competition, the three-hour programme also includes a series of thrilling side contests,with adrenalin-fuelled contestants pushing themselves to their limits, testing their nerve with daredevil stunts and regularly breaking world records.

The 2015 competitors includes current reigning champion Maikel Melero and Jose Miralles from Spain, James Carter from USA, Hannes Ackermann from Germany, Rob Adelberg from Australia, Petr Pilat and Libor Podmol from Czech Republic, David Rinaldo and Brice Izzo from France.

Since its inception in 2001 at Arena Riesa in Germany, Night of the Jumps has established itself as the definitive motocross event, with nearly 250 events held worldwide before two million fans. The event has always aimed to connect fans and spectators with stars of the FMX scene, encouraging audiences to rub shoulders with competitors in the riders’ camp.
