Walk The Sky Tour 2019
Alter Bridge are pleased to confirm their return to the UK in December, accompanied by special guests Shinedown and Sevendust.
Alter Bridge's Mark Tremonti enthuses, "We are honoured to be returning to the UK with our friends in Shinedown and Sevendust this winter. See you all very soon, we couldn’t be happier with the line-up and can’t wait to share our new tunes with you!”
Brent Smith, Shinedown front man adds, "It is such a profound and distinct honour to be accompanying Alter Bridge on tour this November and December. We have such deep respect for them and their fans. When the opportunity was presented to us, we jumped at the chance to be able to tour with our friends in A.B. So come one, come ALL to the rock n’ roll event of the year, and let’s celebrate...together!"
Sevendust singer Lajon Witherspoon concludes, "So excited to come back to the UK and to be with our brothers in Alter Bridge and Shinedown. It’s going to be an amazing run!"
After the break-up of Creed, three of its members (Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall) returned with their new band Alter Bridge. They are augmented by singer Myles Kennedy, whose awesome vocal ability blends perfectly with the instrumental talents of the rest of the group. Whilst keeping an open mind about music, the four band members undoubtedly play to their strengths, delivering rock songs that are exciting and melodic in equal measure.

Shinedown have taken their sound and lyrics from their 2001 beginnings to new levels, touching on points of emotional and political significance that had not recently been explored. In spite of the departure of original member Jasin Todd, the band are still touring harder than ever to be the best they can be.

Atlanta-based quintet Sevendust were one of the most prominent late '90s nu-metal acts, rising above contemporaries with an aggressive blend of bottom-heavy riffs and soulful, accessible melodies delivered by vocalist Lajon Witherspoon. Over the years, the band would balance the raw energy and brutality of early albums like 1997's Sevendust and 1999's Home with increasingly atmospheric production and even late-era acoustic sets on releases like Time Travelers & Bonfires (2014) and Kill the Flaw (2015), home to the Grammy-nominated single 'Thank You'.
