Not That We Know
Choreographer and performer Matthias Sperling furthers his investigation into the relationship
between mind and body in a new performance lecture. Now that we know explores a hypothetical
future in which science has discovered how our minds connect with our bodies. This work of
science fiction builds on recent findings, taking a choreographic perspective to freely imagine
plausible, absurd, thrilling or worrying scenarios.
Sperling took part in the first cohort of Sadler’s Wells Summer University and is a regular
collaborator with Siobhan Davies Dance.
