Playworks is delighted to announce that Stephen Mallinder, founding member of Cabaret Voltaire and one of electronic music’s most influential pioneers, will be joining us for Campfire on Thursday 17th. The iconic synth-head from Sheffield will be sharing his lightning wit and recalling life at the eye of the post-punk storm.

Accompanying Mal’s tales from the post-punk scene in Manchester, a retrospective photography exhibition recalling how acid house spread through London, before exploding at underground raves in function rooms across the home counties will be hosted in the ditto doors gallery space.
