London-based, six-piece instrumental ensemble Tanhai Collective are set to present their new album In Lane on our stage for a special album release show this December. 

Taking inspiration from jazz funk and the jazzier end of post rock, their groove heavy, melodic sounds utilise 70s production and recording techniques, resulting in an explosive, dubbed out sound and showcases their reverence for the post-bop era, carving their own stamp in the UK jazz scene.

With members coming through the prestigious London institution Tomorrow's Warriors, Tanhai Collective have received critical acclaim from tastemakers including Jazzwise, Gilles Peterson, Crack and Mixmag among others.

In Lane combines elements from leftfield post rock and alternative jazz with tight grooves and memorable melodies that has become the hallmark of the new wave of UK jazz.
