About the show
Rahsaan Patterson’s career is proof that an artist can be progressive while firmly based in gospel and R&B traditions. From his solo major-label debut with a self-titled album (1997) to his is latest studio album ‘Heroes & Gods’, Rahsaan displays his adventurous musical palette.
His dynamic and soul-piercing tenor voice above a fusion of RnB, funk, jazz, gospel and electronica has kept him at the forefront of his artistry.
He joins us this November for two intimate Sunday shows.

R&B and urban music star Rahsaan Patterson has a lot of experience behind the scenes in the music industry, writing tracks for artists including Brandy. His own style is simultaneously retro and fresh, the way neo-soul is supposed to be, and his voice ranges from scratchy to silver-smooth, soaring falsetto to tenor-bass and even operatic alto.
