Caught By The River
Caught by the River announce the first of a series of events at London’s Horse Hospital in 2017. Following the success of their first London festival (August’s Caught by the River Thames), they will host several nights of music, talk, film, poetry and field recordings in one of the capital’s most interesting arts spaces.
The first evening features:
Kate Carr (I Had Myself A Nuclear Spring) in conversation with Nick Luscombe (Late Junction/Resonance FM) and playing live.
A rare screening of Blackwaterside (a photofilm of the Blackwater Estuary) featuring a live soundtrack by Ultramarine.
Readings from the Caught by the River poets in residence Will Burns and Martha Sprackland who will be joined on the night by special guest Adam O’ Riordan.
Caught by the River DJs will play records on the night and there will be a dedicated bookshop set up inside the venue. MC for the night will be long time Caught by the River contributor John Andrews.
