He's been the subject of a number of TV and radio programmes in Welsh, Czech and English (S4C, TV Nova, BBC Wales). He's also been asked to perform internationally with highlights being Warsaw, Moscow, New York, Budapest, Prague and Bahrain.
'His act combines sharp wit and observation with a natural geniality, his material is broad and colourful, drawing on his own experiences in his unusual path to a comedy career, while deftly seaming in religion, business, sport and history too' (Funhouse Comedy)
'Success, the audience love it, he's killing them (Prague Post)
'Fantastic MC, we won't be able to afford him next year (Chamber of Commerce, Prague)

'Skinhead, intellectual, and specialist compere, Roger Monkhouse employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience' (Glee)
'His laconic delivery shields an engaging persona and an enquiring mind' (The Guardian)
'Pulls punchlines, seemingly, out of thin air... Saucy - and uncompromisingly so - sometimes topical, sometimes punny, sometimes clever, sometimes daft... There is, in short, something in this varied comedy menu for every taste... A gifted natural... One of the consummate professionals of the stand-up circuit' (Chortle)
'... one of the most experienced acts in the business. His deadpan style and quick wit make him one of the best acts out there, and he is a regular fixture at top venues all over the country, as well as performing extensively throughout the rest of the world' (Funhouse Comedy).

Although hailed as the only blind comic on the stand up circuit, comedian Chris McCausland makes light of it. He usually begins with a crack about the irony of a blind man doing observational comedy and then speeds off into his entertaining and refreshing set, making wry and perceptive comments about the rich and famous, every day life and suchlike. Instantly likeable and definitely memorable.
'Proper stand up, honest straightforward and balls-out funny' (Chortle)
'A must see!' (The Sunday Times)
'Always excellent' (The Times)
'Truly brilliant' (Three Weeks)
'The new face of comedy in the UK' (ITV)
'Shining Light!' (Sunday Express)
'... fabulously funny and a definite highlight' (Leicester Mercury).
