Club Massaoke 'Launch Party'

Massaoke, the UK club night sensation is throwing a house warming party like no other to celebrate moving to their new home, the famous Garage in Highbury.

For the uninitiated, the idea behind Massaoke is simple: an amazing live band plays pop, indie and rock anthems and the whole crowd is the singer, guided by lyrics projected onto a giant screen. It’s not karaoke – this is Massaoke, where everyone sings and dances together and the crowd is the star of the show.

The result is a euphoric celebration of some of the best songs ever written – part club night, part gig, part listening to your favourite mixtape with a room full of friends. It’s become a favourite for press, punters and celebs alike - with regular surprise guests who have included the likes of Erasure’s Andy Bell, Al Murray the Pub Landlord, Sara Pascoe, Phil Jupitus, Ed Byrne, David McAlmont, Bez and even Channel 4 News’ John Snow (whose version of Park Life has to be seen to be believed).

Having just returned from a triumphant run in Australia, this event marks the start of a monthly residency at one of London’s best loved music venues following an epic year of events which has seen Massaoke perform to packed tents of thousands at festivals including Glastonbury and Latitude and enjoy a sell out run at Edinburgh Fringe.

So on Saturday 11th June from 10pm get your vocal chords ready and put on your dancing shoes and come and join in the unique award-winning club event that has been called ‘better than narcotics’ and ‘the answer to world peace’.
