Jenny and the Mexicats name is a nod to the colloquial way to call the locals in Madrid (gatos), linking the origin of two of its musicians (Mexico).
They mix jazz, rockabilly, folk, flamenco, reggae, country and cumbia, which gives them a unique and practically inimitable personality.
Their subjects jump from one style to another, with a naturalness that for others would be impossible.
