Tenderness, longing, dancing, love, energy, warmth and freedom, brought to you in live music by harpist Eleanor Turner and her 8-piece ensemble. Composer Benjamin Rimmer, known for his beautiful other-worldly soundscapes, is composing a new piece for harp and strings that will receive its first performance in this concert. Ravel's Introduction and Allegro sounds as fresh as ever next to Deborah Henson-Conant's passionate chamber concerto, performed by Eleanor in New Orleans and Sydney but never before in the UK. There will be a few surprises on the evening and Eleanor looks forward to welcoming a new audience to her music!
