Tom Price-Stephens, Harrison Tweed, Matthew the Oxx, Zoe Konez

Tom Price-Stephens is an acoustic singer-songwriter from South Wales and a mainstay of the London music scene.

After years of playing beaches and BBQ's, Tom is now a professional musician, playing countless venues around the capital and hosting one of London's leading open mics.

With a debut EP under his belt Tom is in the process of recording his first studio album with his, as yet un-named, band.

Harrison Tweed is a three piece acoustic group from the Newry and Mourne area of Northern Ireland. Since forming in 2012 the group have managed to play up and down the country playing gigs and festivals like Youthfest NI and Ballyshannon Festival.

They have crafted their own home grown sound that is well suited for people of all ages. With their catchy hooks, riffs and three part harmonies they will have you singing along by the chorus.

With Mike Oldfield for an uncle, and composer Terry Oldfield for a father, Matthew Oldfield, aka Matthew the Oxx, is a peripatetic soul who has absorbed osmotically the aspiration to write and play music simply by proxy. As a child, Matthew and family lived on the Greek island of Hydra, where his father’s friendship with Leonard Cohen was to have a lasting effect on Matthew’s life, providing a profound part of the soundtrack to his upbringing.

In 2013 Matthew returned once more to England after five years abroad. He signed to indie-folk label Wild Sound while he was still putting the finishing touches to this album ‘First Aid for the Drowning’ — a dizzying, intimate tour-de-force that runs the gamut of human experience, with an enigmatic title taken from the Balzac novel ‘La Peau de Chagrin’, and which in its entirety presents a coherent body of work through which this philosophical artist is able to project his extraordinary life’s insights.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Zoe and drummer Will have just released their album Fold The World In Two on The Big Chill label and spent a month on tour in UK and Europe. Each month at SLL Zoe and Will present some of their favourite acts in an intimate respectful environment and play a few songs themselves.
