American born altoist Allison Neale and guitarist Colin Oxley recreate the magical pairing of Paul Desmond, best known for his long standing association with Dave Brubeck, and Jim Hall, guitarist with Sonny Rollins. Drawing from both these influences, they explore their own unique musical partnership through the art of the standard tune, while staying true to the nature of the original recordings, beautiful in their simplicity and elegance. They are joined by Italian bassist Dario De Lecce and drummer Matt Home.

As a strong advocate of the melodic West Coast style, Allison has performed alongside leading international artists such as Adelaide Hall and Bud Shank, and more recently tenorist Scott Hamilton. She has also featured in both the John Dankworth ?Generations? Band, “Back to Basie? Orchestra and the "Two of a Mind" project with multi-reed man Chris Biscoe.

Colin Oxley draws on a vast experience of musical settings which includes being featured with Stacey Kent, Scott Hamilton, Michael Garrick, Colin Purbrook, Dave Cliff, Warren Vache and the John Wilson Orchestra.
