BABYRAT

Bursting out of Cork City in 2024, BABYRAT are a collision of razor-sharp guitars, huge pop hooks and technicolour attitude. Self-described as ‘bitch-pop’, the four-piece occupy the space where punk-rockers and pop-lovers share the dancefloor, pairing the guitar-driven urgency of The Strokes and Paramore with the sharp lyricism and emotional immediacy of Olivia Rodrigo or, as the band put it, “pop music dressed in rock’s clothing”.
