The Disposable Film Festival

London’s longest running film club presents an evening of Disposable shorts. If the camera on a device was never intended to be used for making a film, if the device itself is deemed ‘disposable’ once it becomes obsolescent, if no one in their right mind would think to tell a story using a flatbed scanner, a USB microscope, a plastic toy, a vehicle reverse camera, a phone on a selfie stick, a webcam, helmet cam or a flip cam, then it will be featured in this exciting night of cutting edge shorts.

Now in its sixth year, Exploding Cinema’s Disposable showcase has become the stuff of legend and controversy. Featuring the 2016 programme from the granddaddy of the strange format, San Francisco’s Disposable Film Festival, the Cinema Museum will be lit up from within by Exploding Cinema’s signature kaleidoscopic psychedelic projections providing a multi-coloured backdrop to this eclectic show.
