Burns Club Of London's Gin A Body, Meet A Body
In the lead up to some exciting plans for 2018, the Burns Club of London is taking a 'slight pilgrimage to the classic scenes of this country' with a geographical tour of Scotland in songs and poetry for their latest initiative 'Cool Burns'.
They will introduce a plethora of talent, starting from Ayrshire with 'Gin a body, meet a body', the first of the Scottish gin tasting evenings with music by Jamie McGeechan on Monday 2nd October at The Caledonian Club.
Jamie is an award-winning singer and songwriter who has performed on both sides of the Atlantic with Eddi Reader, Damien Rice and Joan Armatrading, and is a regular performer at New York Tartan Week as Ambassador for World Peace Tartan.
He made history by being the first person to record inside Burns Cottage, Alloway, and is also an Ambassador for the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
