The Last Waltz - A Tribute

After their little trip down Abbey Road, they're back and ready to tackle yet another seminal album that made a seismic impact upon its release! They are talking about the star-studded farewell concert of The Band and the most revered music documentary of all time, The Last Waltz.

Following a decision to quit touring The Band wanted to say goodbye to their fans in the most spectacular of ways and so, on Nov 26th 1976, Thanksgiving Eve they hired out The Winter Ballroom, fed 5000 turkey dinners and treated them to the greatest night of their lives.

Special guests such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters to name but a few, all played to an unsuspecting audience. And so, on Nov 5th, Guy Fawkes Night we're hiring out The Bedford, offering free slices of pumpkin pie and doing our best to pay homage to the greatest gig of all time.
