Kwame Asante: Teenage Heartblob

Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and medical doctor Kwame was overweight in his late childhood and obese in his early teens. Dealing with weight issues in his formative years, split between growing up in London and spending his summers in rural Ghana played a significant part in the person he is today. Now, working in the NHS and sharing in other people's experiences of obesity has forced him to reflect on his own experiences, and taught him many valuable and heart-warming lessons which he shares with the audience in this new show.
