Eric And Little Ern: Tara Arts
Prior to its Edinburgh festival premiere, here's a first chance to catch this moving, affectionate and brilliantly funny tribute to the greatest comedy double act that Britain has ever seen.
The show vividly brings back the warm memories of a bygone era recreating some of the finest moments of Eric and Ernie's television and stage performances, drawing on some of the most cherished moments from the archives which have been assembled into a fresh hour of brilliant comedy.
Devised and performed by Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens.
'A hugely funny and touching homage to the great Morecambe and Wise. Terrific show' (James Bolam, The Likely Lads, New Tricks)
'This funny and affectionate tribute to one of the greatest comedy duos of all time should ensure that their legacy is preserved for future generations. Quite simply brilliant' (Philip Glenister, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes).
