I Maestri

I Maestri continues its musical journey with a programme embedded with Nationalism and Patriotism, a musing reflection on times of change and idealisms of an aspired World.

Autumn is a time for reflection and remembrance, and through the works of Ralph Vaughan William we find folk melodies that are resurrected to emulate nationalistic nostalgia, the dramatic struggles of Love and Romance through the music of Schumann, and a victorious dedication with Beethoven’s triumphant 7th Symphony exalting the victory of the British over Napoleon's France.
