Out Of The Blue

Written five years after the 9/11 attacks on America, Simon Armitage’s thirteen-part poem Out of the Blue reimagines the events from the point of view of a trader working in the North Tower of the World Trade Centre.

With special permission from the poet himself, the world's first stage adaptation of Armitage’s touching and profound poem will draw on multi-media and physical theatre techniques, working with a talented ensemble cast of sixth form actors.
