Merrily We Roll Along

Book by George Furth, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Directed by John Hudson with musical direction by Mark Wilderspin.

This will be SPS Drama’s first production of a work by the towering genius of the musical, Stephen Sondheim. The story traces the relationship between three friends backwards from 1976 to 1957, moving from disappointment and disillusionment to youthful hope and optimism.

The score features some of Sondheim’s most beautiful songs, including ‘Not a Day Goes By’ and ‘Old Friends’.
