Never miss another 'Finley Quaye' show
Charity Concert: Finley Quaye
"Finley's reputation was established by 'Maverick A Strike', an album released in September 1997. Two more albums were released on Epic, 'Vanguard' and 'Much More Than Much Love'. He has gone on to work with and supported by the best in the music industry.
Finley supports and benefits charities such as, Practical Action, Connection at St Martins, the Gorilla Foundation and the Asperger Foundation. He is delighted to be performing at St Paul's, helping Iris Theatre support emerging talent in the arts."
Info provided by the Event Organiser
When Finley Quaye burst onto the British music scene in 1997 his debut album 'Maverick' quickly established him as one of the few truly innovative artists around. Providing hits such as 'Sunday Shining', 'Even After All' and the much lauded 'Ultra Stimulation' EP, 'Maverick' was a groundbreaking record that defined the summer of 1997 and beyond, winning Finley a Brit for Best Male Artist in '98.
Quaye is the half-brother of noted guitarist Caleb Quaye, afro-jazz musician Terri Quaye, the youngest son of jazz musician Cab Kaye AND his godfather is Duke Ellington so music is well and truly in his blood!
