Wreckless Eric is Eric Goulden. He was given the name to hide behind. Onstage he hides behind nothing, he tells the truth with big open chords, squalls of feedback, lilting enchantment, bizarre stories and backchat. Thirty seven years of touring have left him in good shape. He's coming to town.
Joining Wreckless Eric for this London exclusive date is Anglo-Australian singer songwriter Howard Eynon, who has only released one album so far in his career, the cult acid-folk classic So What If I'm Standing In Apricot Jam (1974) which became one of the rarest and most sought after albums in the genre. In 2014, Earth Recordings reissued the album for the first time in 40 years, confirming the album's cult status among the acid-folk community.
