Voxcetera, Paul Ayres, Anne Reid

It wouldn't be Christmas without a festive concert in a beautiful church. Voxcetera's popular annual Christmas Concert combines favourite carols and songs with gorgeous lesser known treats and exciting new arrangements of festive classics.

Acclaimed chamber choir will be joined by string players and Paul Ayres on organ and piano. Much-loved actress Anne Reid the star of Last Tango in Halifax, Dinnerladies and much more, will give readings.

Music includes It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Unto Us Is Born A Son, Away in a Manger, The Twelve Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Hark The Herald Angels Sing and Jingle Bells as well as pieces by John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, John Tavener and Jonathan Dove.
