Vivaldi by Candlelight

You are warmly invited to join the Music Department on a trip to St Martin-in-the-Fields in what promises to be an exciting concert by the London Musical Arts Orchestra and Ensemble. This candlelit event will include two works by J.S Bach: His Double Violin Concerto and the famous Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring which is sure to delight audience members. The concert will also feature Pachelbel’s well known Canon in D, as well as the accompanying Gigue. The concert will not be too firmly rooted in the Baroque era, however, deviating to the Classical period with Mozart’s Divertimento in D. The concert will finish with an exciting performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
