Music On The Rise Presents
Music On The Rise are delighted to present musicians Alex Rider and Jennifer Hogan for a stunning evening of richly colourful music for flute and harp, all in the glorious setting of St. Mark's Church, Dalston.
The programme will feature works from composers Alwyn, Caplet, Francaix and Hovhaness.
Doors will open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start; tickets will be available on the door. In the interval come for a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles.
Alex Rider is graduate harpist of the Guidhall School of Music and Drama, recent highlights include performances as a member of the London Sinfonietta Academy 2015. Currently guest principal harp of the Kristiansund Opera and Ballet (Norway), Alex appeared with them in Debussy’s Danses, chamber works by Ravel and Jolivet and broadcasts on Norwegian radio.
Jenni Hogan graduated from Trinity Laban in 2012 after completing a MMus (flute). Since graduating she has become highly in demand as a contemporary specialist, in solo and chamber music settings. Jenni also plays with various orchestras including, most recently, the New London Orchestra and the London Mahler Orchestra.
