Warren Mailley-Smith

This is the first recital in an impressive eleven-concert series of all Chopin's solo piano works. Virtuoso British pianist Warren Mailley-Smith performs in the superb baroque setting of St John's Smith Square.

This evening's programme features the sparkling virtuosity of the Polonaise Brillante, alongside the mature sophistication of the great masterpiece the Polonaise-Fantaisie. The epic journey starts with the composer's Op.1, taking up a chronological thread of mazurkas along with some of his well-loved miniatures.

Described as 'Stunning' by Classic FM and 'The embodiment of the modern romantic concert pianist' by Musical Opinion, this outstanding pianist is a favourite with London audiences and venues alike. Warren has performed for the Royal Family on many occasions, has given acclaimed solo recitals at Carnegie and Wigmore Halls and has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra .
