Firefay

Firefay is a six-piece London-based band whose sound can be defined as Folk Noir, a mixture of psychedelic folk, French chanson, some melancholy baroque, a touch of Middle Eastern flavour and a top layer of groove.

Influences include John Dowland, psychedlic folk, Arabic fusion music, Klezmer music and the 1960s Canterbury scene.

Having been around for a number of years, Firefay has recently released an album, Annointed Queen, with Alison O Donnell (of Mellow Candle). Their new album Folk Noir will showcase during the show.
