Birmingham Royal Ballet’s triple bill, Lazuli Sky is Sadler’s Wells’ first socially-distanced public performance.
Will Tuckett’s hopeful and regenerative new piece for 12 dancers, is inspired by the birdsong and wind-shaped skies experienced during lockdown, once day to day noise disappeared.
Lazuli Sky uses design and projection to create a socially distanced stage architecture, set to Shaker Loops by John Adams and played by a live string septet.
