The Pube Project

The Pube Project is an intimate, one-on-one performance that explores our relationship with pubic hair. Combining performative elements with an informal, conversational format, performer Eugénie Pastor creates a safe environment to explore and interrogate our attitudes towards personal grooming.

During each performance, the participants will collaborate with Pastor in the making of a unique self-portrait. A gallery will grow over the course of the day, offering insight into the relationships between public faces and private places, and reflecting on a body part not often openly discussed.
