Come & Sing Elijah

Join David Hill and members of The Bach Choir for an intensive choral training day.

Rehearse and perform Elijah by Mendelssohn on the stage of Royal Festival Hall itself, under the direction of one of the country’s leading conductors and choir trainers, and accompanied by Philip Scriven on organ.

All confident singers who can read music are welcome. We’re using the Novello edition. You should bring your own score; it is possible to hire a copy (at a cost of £3.50) at tickets.thebachchoir.org.uk/comeandsing3/.

‘Come and Sing days are a hugely important part of The Bach Choir’s outreach work, and I always look forward to them enormously. It is marvellous to see so many singers from all over the country – and from overseas – brought together to experience familiar, or often new, music in a friendly and relaxed setting... I hope that every participant can take away something from the day, whether it is a new technique to meet the demands of a particular work, or simply a friendship made, or renewed.' (David Hill)
