Sir Karl Jenkins

Award-winning composer Karl Jenkins has announced three exclusive dates around the country this spring, conducting a superb programme of some of his finest works.

This concert is a fantastic opportunity to experience three of his most celebrated compositions. His moving and exquisite ‘Requiem’ was dedicated to his late father and draws inspiration from Japanese haiku poetry and Latin text.

One of his most recognised works, ‘Palladio’, Jenkins’ himself says “embodies the Renaissance celebration of harmony and order”.

Concluding the concert is ‘The Healer’, premiered in 2014. This portrays healing in both the spiritual and secular sense – the healing of the spirit and the healing of the planet, and with true Jenkins’ panache it demonstrates global harmony and unity by weaving together sounds and instrumentation from around the world.
