Poetry Book Society Summer Showcase
Enjoy exciting new voices at the Poetry Book Society's Summer Showcase at Southbank Centre.
The Poetry Book Society (PBS) is a poetry book club founded by TS Eliot in 1953 to ‘propagate the art of poetry’. Every quarter, expert poet 'Selectors' choose the best new collections to deliver to PBS members, hot off the presses.
The event features readings by the PBS Summer Selections: Amy Key, Mary Jean Chan and the winner of the PBS Student Poetry Prize, Jay G Ying. The Student Poetry Prize recognises talented student writers and emerging new voices.
PBS Book Selector and Ledbury Forte Prize-winning poet Sandeep Parmar presents this showcase launching the brand-new summer 2018 issue of Bulletin magazine.
