The inimitable singer performs a selection of hits and new material on the release of a collaborative album with songwriter and producer Chris Braide.
In their first performance together, the pair premiere material from Chaos and a Dancing Star, due for release in February 2020, alongside selected works from Almond’s celebrated career.
Almond and Braide previously worked together on Almond’s 2015 album The Velvet Trail.
Almond has sold over 35 million records worldwide, both with his solo work and with pioneering band Soft Cell. Previous collaborators include the likes of Gene Pitney, Tony Visconti and Jools Holland.
Chris Braide is a Grammy-nominated, Ivor Novello and ASCAP winning songwriter, producer, composer and musician who has worked with artists including Hans Zimmer, Lana Del Rey and Beyoncé.
The former Soft Cell frontman is also well established as an internationally acclaimed and successful solo artist. He has sold over 30 million records worldwide and is an icon and influence to a generation of musicians.
